Being a full resource for travel agencies since 2001, Acqua Development is one of the main software suppliers dedicated to this area in the Romanian market. Today over 1000 travel agencies use our products which cover the entire area of activities of travel agencies. It all began with the attempt to computerize this extremly complex domain, initially developing a product for local accomodation tour operators, continuing with service packs (transport + accommodation) tour operators, to finally develop an easy way to use this product for their retailers. During the last two years we dedicated ourselves to the development of products that aide the collaboration between travel agencies, easing the interaction between the travel agency and it's suppliers. We succesfully managed to get together competitors on the travel agencies market who shook hands to work through our systems.

2001-2003
Developing the first software solution for travel agency management.
The first software product was entitled Acqua Travel Agency
- the system managed the bookings and the hotel allocations
- the system managed the sale invoices and collections
- the system offered a set of basic reports very useful at the time
- the systen came with a revoltianary design for those times, having a futusistic "look & fell"
2003-2004
The main features were considerably improved, being used in more than 10 agencies and the name of the system changed to Q Travel (Quick Travel, Quality Travel)
- the system evolved towards a tour operator system
- the system was running in 12 travel agencies
- the system was used by at least 200 users
- tha bases were founded of what was to become the most popular booking contract software management for travel agencies
2004-2005
Together with Total Soft we started a common project to developt the new Q Travel which aims to become the most robust management system for tour operator travel agencies
- it managed the hotel allocations
- it managed charters (coach and airplane)
- it managed tours and sejours
- thereby we were pioneers in managing this type of software on the Romanian market
2005-2006
Q Travel was interconnected with Charisma, offering more information and financial-book keeping reports.
- we developed the web-based version for big travel agencies
- we developed the interaction between Amadeus and Worldspan
- we developed an online booking system based on Q Travel
2006-2008
Q Travel WS and QTravel Light
- the 4th version of the Q Travel system was developed
- we started to be a living presence of local tourism fairs
- we developed the first booking system accessible to small and medium tour operator agencies
- we developed the first application dedicated to retailer travel agencies
2008-2010
Q Travel Light, Quick Sell, Q Travel Backoffice
- Q Travel WS system becomes a real online booking system
- Q Travel Light system is becoming increasingly popular and accessible to all travel agencies
- Quick Sell Backoffice system for flights, accommodation, medical insurance and holidays from local tour operators
- Quick Sell Online system for flights and accommodation
- we started the first dedicated support call center for a travel agency software in Romania under the motto "we do not sound busy!"
- we developed the first CRM product dedicated to travel agency made in Romania
- we have implemented CRM in our company to improve the relationship with our clients
